About Richard Bolko, ESQ, CPA, MBA, MACC

Richard has spent his entire career architecting, developing, and deploying innovative solutions that align with business goals and deliver quantifiable financial benefits. His consistent vision has been to build an effective team aligned with the business objectives and leveraging technology as a strategic differentiator to improve financial performance. He has an extensive hands-on experience in growing and transforming departments and organizations with a minimal investment in IT infrastructure and staff. His 15+ years of finance experience include extensive interaction with executive management and boards of directors.

Through various positions, he was instrumental in design, development, and support of finance functions that enabled rapid annual revenue growth via acquisitions and organic expansion without accounting and processing difficulties while maintaining a zero based budget. Besides the development of finance functions, Richard led and participated in numerous ERP system conversion, and sunsetting of legacy system projects. In addition to system conversion and mergers, Richard performed due diligence and participated in negotiations and deal making for fifty plus acquisitions varying in size (from $0.5MM to $400MM) and number of capitalization rounds.

He is fluent in areas of accounting (GAAP & IFRS) and finance related activities for the organization, including inventory accounting, financial reporting (10-K, 10-Q, SEC), budgeting, forecasting, independent audit & tax (SOX, Internal Controls), financial planning & analysis, treasury and cash-management, collaborative governance, and financial risk & compliance management. He is a diversely skilled leader who is a compelling and transparent communicator in English and Polish, who has the ability to establish and maintain respect, credibility, and collaborative trust with a
diversity of staff and other internal and external stakeholders. He crafted finance organization that was extremely customer focused, both for external and internal customers. He used the finance group as one of the primary agents of change, providing new services for customers and improving internal process flow efficiency.

Richard is an outside of the box thinker. Being Six Sigma certified, process improvement and efficiencies are his other very strong attributes. But perhaps first passion is leading people. The number of organizations he has been privileged to work with exposed him to a multitude of personalities and talents. He believes in strong leadership through holding strong to integrity, motivation and proper job placement.
