What is a guardianship or conservatorship?

It’s when you’re absent from the state. A guardianship is either for a minor, because there is funds that they’ve inherited, or through some kind of settlement have in their own name, and somebody has to manage that for them until they’re 18. An adult guardianship is when you’re incapacitated, and cannot either make decisions for yourself personally or handle your finances. That guardianship is terminated only upon your death, or if you become able to make your decisions by yourself, your rights are then restored.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
