The court becomes involved, appoints appoints a person of representative to act. That person representative then marshals all these assets, pulls all the assets together, and then distributes those assets either by way of the direction of the will, or by way of direction of a intestacy estate which means it distributes by the direction of the statute, governing people that do not have wills in place. It doesn’t necessarily take a long time, it’s a little bit more expensive sometimes than if you used good planning before hand but is not a process [1] to be afraid of.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
