What is a no contest clause?

A no-contest clause is where you say, if somebody contests my will or my trust, they’re not going to inherit, or they’re only going to inherit a dollar or something to that effect. It changes their inheritance. However, a no-contest clause isn’t enforceable in any document in the state of Florida, so it’s of no effect if you have it in your document, even if it’s a document that is in an out-of-state will that you bring to the of Florida. It’s not going to be enforceable here.
