How can an estate plan make things easier on my family after I die?

If you have an estate plan that tells your family members exactly where you want assets to be distributed, where they go when you pass, then it’s easier on your family because they know exactly what your wishes are. If they have to make decisions as well as experience your loss and grieve, it’s hard for them to balance those emotions at the same time. If you’re directing your assets to be distributed say, equally to all three children you know exactly how it’s going to be done when you die so does your family and that gives them peace of mind that you then have planned exactly how you want those assets distributed.
